Myth in Different Languages

I sent a PM to Gugusm and Tireces over at Magma, but who knows when they will see it. Wink

I'm looking for copies of Myth 2 in different languages. This way if there are issues with those versions which might not be in the english version, they can be fixed. Also, if anyone with good translating skills is interested, they could fix any bad translations. Then they can put that in a patch. By the way 1.7.1 has been released, go get it.

i think he means that he wants to check wether the 1.7.1 myth will work well with myth published in languages other than english. I dont think there is a greek version, mb there is a polish version I dont know.

Not only if they work well with the latest version, but since they use different files they might have issues no one bothered to fix. To fix them, I would need the foundation tag files of that language.

Also thanks to a feature in 1.7, you could make an addon plugin. That way if you want make a fixed translation you can use it and still play with people that don't use that plugin.

hey Pyro, sure Ive got ( somewhere ) polish versions of Myth TLF and Myth II. I remeber some translated lines were quite horrible. My No1 would be proly level "Force Ten form Stoneheim" it was translated to "Wypędzić Ten'a ze Stoneheim" and it menas "Kick out/remove by force (who?) Ten - exactly a guy named Ten (SIC!) from Stoneheim" hehehe Very Happy
