I have made quite a bit of progress on this now, and some things are working out much better than I ever expected.
Hope to have a good beta version out soon, so far I only have a

1. I wonder if there is a simple way to do this!
I have a group of warriors standing in a box(AI controlled), how do I make them stand in formation so that they are always facing outwards?
(Roman Testudo style I guess it might be called.)
As far as I can see this would only be possible by scripting every single unit to face in a certain direction, which would be lots and lots of work, indeed so much I wonder if it would be worth it.
(I have 200+ warriors on the map at start, they are all destroyed in a few minutes though, so putting so much scripting into them would be insane.)

2.Making special attacks ignore visibility.
Mazzarin's Concussion attack is a good example of this.
Mazzarin will not use it if he cannot see what he is attacking, I want my unit to cast such spells no matter if it can see the target or not.

Hope you guys can point me in the right direction with the second one, cannot find out how to fix it!

You could try the "legion" map action to make the units all face one way, like on into the cloudspine. This has some issues but if you time it right it might work. Also the "move" action has a flag to enable the units to look at a target. You probably shouldnt use more then 100 units in one map action, so maybe make 2 or 4 groups and it may work ok. I would be happy to edit or try some new map actions to test anything you have, I love to script.

I dont really understand the second question, how would you target a unit that is off the screen? Something like the cannons on landing at white falls? Or a click on the mesh type? Im not very familiar with mazz.

I think I will leave out trying to make the warriors go into such complicated formations.

I was not very clear with the second question I guess, let's say a unit is facing lots of units, and wants to attack the ground behind them, or a unit in center of the group, it will usually try to walk around the units to find a spot where it can see the point it intends to attack.

I have been trying to make a warlocks fireball fly in an arc, like dwarf cocktails or archers arrows, but I cannot find out how this is done.

Would I need to edit the attack sequence perhaps?

Its a little comlicated, but "does not require solution" is the behavior you would want. Make sure it is checked and others are not. It will require some trial and error I'm sure.

About the fireball, try the flag "is fixed pitch", and adjust the velocity. Look at the dwarf bottle and arrow attacks and try those values.

I can't seem to get either one of those to work properly.

The former one is actually working out, but the second one is a lot more trouble.

Any chance you will be around this weekend Fury?
On mnet that is.
I am making another test map, would help a lot too look at how things work out.

I would like to see it though, I'll have more time pretty soon (hopefully)
